Education and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, orrelated field
- Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., MBA, CIMA, PMP) preferred
- Relevant commercial, contract, or business development training is a plus
Experience Requirements
- Requires a minimum of 5 years in power generation industry.
- Strong writing skills, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to be an independent problem solver.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a diverse team
- Team player and ability to work with and manage clients and stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
- Candidates must be self motivated with passion and curiosity for learning and advancing his/her career.
- Exposure toward Renewable Energy/ Green Energy/ Sustainable Energy Technology
Accountability & Responsibility
1. Commercial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and revenue streams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
2. Contract & Pricing Management
- Negotiate, review, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Develop pricing strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
- Ensure all agreements comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
3. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Lead initiatives to expand the client base and enhance business partnerships.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support product/service offerings and market positioning.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide commercial updates, reports, and recommendations to senior management.
- Resolve client or partner issues efficiently to maintain trust and satisfaction.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor commercial staff, set clear KPIs and performance goals.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide professional development opportunities.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
6. Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and corporate policies.
- Conduct periodic commercial audits and reporting.
