Education and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering fields or equivalent.
• Familiar with power plant operation and maintenance activities.
• Familiar with plant Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), generating license and service delivery requirements.
• Fair knowledge in relevant law and statutory requirements for power plant operation.
• Familiar with project management methodology and execution.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum eight (8) years of working experience with preference at least five (5) years in any O&M roles.
• Possesses experience in managing various scale of maintenance activities.
• Demonstrates a proven track record in managing project / major outages.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies and the effective use of project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Possesses practical experience in utilizing ERMS-PM Modules for maintenance analysis and management.
• Experience in dealing, communicates and collaborates with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Accountability & Responsibility

• Oversee the implementation of a comprehensive maintenance strategy that includes preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities. 
• Coordinate and facilitate RCM activities to drive effective maintenance practices and improve overall plant reliability.
• Conduct regular reviews of maintenance performance reports, provide recommendations to enhance overall maintenance effectiveness and disseminating the report to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive effective planned outage management by ensuring strict adherence to the latest Major Planned Outage Guidelines, encompassing the preparation, execution, and closure processes.
• Coordinate and facilitate the planning of maintenance outage and execution of all maintenance activities at the station, including preventive maintenance, major overhauls, HGPI, combustion inspections, ensuring seamless integration with the Operations team.
• Serve as a Project Coordinator for the entire major outages at the station level. 
• Ensure that major outages are completed within the specified timelines, allocated budgets, and with the highest quality standards.
• Review and disseminate periodic maintenance outage reports to relevant stakeholders, encompassing both planned and unplanned outages.
• Proactively track and monitor the implementation of recommendations arising from external reports, including RCAs, overhaul reports, COMO reports etc. Review its effectiveness for improvement.
• Coordinate Maintenance Section to prepare and compile relevant maintenance documents but not limited to Annual OPEX/CAPEX Budget plan, Annual Asset Performance Report, Asset Management Plan / Asset Management Implementation Plan, Annual Operating Plan etc.
• Provide expert support by contributing valuable insights to Root Cause Analyses and actively assisting in plant troubleshooting activities as well regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate closely with the BSS team to implement effective inventory management strategies and optimize inventory costs.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by ensuring that both self and subordinate development plans are effectively implemented.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing assurance regarding risk exposures and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant laws, statutory requirements, internal guidelines, procedures, and industry best practices, implementing necessary control measures to maintain compliance.
• Demonstrates full commitment to HSE principles, fostering a safe and conducive work environment, and ensuring strict adherence to all HSE procedures and internal guidelines.
• Maintain elements of Genco Integrated Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 55001, ISO 37001, ISO 9001) and other management system standards based on roles and functions as and when required to achieve Genco’s policies and objectives.
