Accountability & Responsibility
•Manage, implement, and distribute a comprehensive Boiler maintenance program that includes both preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Ensure that all Boiler maintenance tasks are executed in accordance with established policies, manuals, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
•Plan, organize and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for Boiler works, ensuring timely execution during scheduled maintenance inspections, major overhauls, or routine maintenance windows.
•Review major outage / overhaul scope related to Boiler works and ensure smooth outage implementation within approved timelines, cost and required quality.
•Oversee the implementation of maintenance plans generated by ERMS, ensuring effective execution and timely completion of all tasks until TECO (Technically Completed). Track and manage defect records in ERMS, implementing timely resolution plans to address identified issues.
•Serve as a Qualified Person (Mechanical), responsible to apply for and receive Permit-to-Work (PTW) from the Authorized Person. Supervise the execution of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Prepare HIRADC and/or method statement documents for routine / non-routine works before work commencement.
•Supervise the performance of appointed contractors for Boiler maintenance activities, ensuring strict adherence to approved work procedures and safety requirements.
•Lead teams carry out plant troubleshooting and investigations during unplanned outages to identify root causes and implement preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.
•Leverage historical data and site experience to enhance Boiler maintenance strategies and practices, identifying areas for improvement.
•Ensure that all Boiler maintenance check sheets are completed with accurate information and verify the document. Highlight any abnormality to superior for corrective action.
•Monitor utilization of Boiler critical spare parts, insurance items, and fast-moving inventory and advise for replenish stock.
•Assist superior in preparing technical documents, including bills of quantities, engineering drawings, and technical specifications, prior to initiating the procurement process.
•Oversee and manage overtime planning, entry, leave applications, attendance monitoring and other administrative need for all subordinates.
•Ensure strict adherence to all relevant laws, statutory requirements, internal guidelines, procedures, and industry best practices, implementing necessary control measures to maintain compliance.
•Demonstrates full commitment to HSE principles, fostering a safe and conducive work environment, and ensuring strict adherence to all HSE procedures and internal guidelines.
•Maintain elements of Genco Integrated Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 55001, ISO 27001, ISO 9001) and other management system standards based on roles and functions as and when required to achieve Genco’s policies and objectives.

Education and Knowledge
1.Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or successful enrolled PPKJ Program or equivalent.
2.Basic understanding on Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), generating license, service delivery requirements and Operation & Maintenance Agreement.
3.Familiar with power plant operation and maintenance activities.
4.Demonstrates a strong foundation in power plant mechanical systems, ability to interpret technical drawings and effectively troubleshoot plant issues.
5.Basic knowledge on mechanical international standards (i.e. ASME, ASTM, ISO etc.)
6.Basic knowledge on mechanical regulatory inspection and assessment.
Certifications
Experience Requirements
1.Minimum 15 years of working experience with preference at least seven (7) years in Mechanical related works or equivalent.
2.Possesses experience in managing various Boiler activities, including new installation, commissioning, maintenance, regulatory inspection, refurbishment, re-engineering and diagnose problem.
3.Possesses a basic understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and other maintenance methodologies in developing comprehensive Boiler maintenance policies.
4.Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing the ERMS - PM Modules and Microsoft Office Suite.
5.Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration and teamwork across functional areas.
