Mission (Sources of Values)

• Ensure timely and efficient settlement of payments to generators, fuel suppliers and vendors as per the agreements​
• Ensure financial sustainability of Single Buyer and efficiency in cashflow management​
• Ensure timely and efficient recovery of additional cost of generation via the ICPT mechanism

Accountability & Responsibility

• Manage Account Payables to ensure timely payments
• Manage Account Receivables to ensure all receivables are captured properly​
• Monitor and manage payroll, staff claims processing and dividend payout to shareholders​
• Assist in cashflow planning and management on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis (which include payments to generators, fuel suppliers, vendors and staffs and revenues related to IBR and non-IBR as well receivables from generators and cross-border initiatives)​
• Manage banking matters (including bank reconciliation, banking facility and short-term placement) and foster good networking with banks
• Maintain sanction list for payments related to foreign countries​
• Assist in managing effective debt and liquidity management (borrowings and interest on
  borrowings)

KPIs

• Ensure efficiency in cashflow management​
• Timely settlement of invoices from generators, fuel suppliers and vendors​
• Timely management of payroll and staff claims processing
• Full recovery of additional generation costs

• Settlement of invoices from the generators, fuel suppliers and vendors as per the agreement’s provisions​

Competencies

Education and Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields​

Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years working experience with minimum 3 years in SB

Networking & Relations

• Relevant TNB Divisions and Departments and Single Buyer Units
• Relevant banks and financial advisors​
