Accountability & Responsibility

  • Lead financial modelling and investment analysis for renewable energy projects including solar, hydro, and other clean energy initiatives.
  • Evaluate the financial feasibility of potential projects through detailed financial analysis and project valuation techniques.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support project financing decisions and investment proposals.
  • Structure project financing arrangements including debt, equity, and hybrid financing mechanisms.
  • Coordinate with financial institutions, banks, and investors to secure project financing.
  • Prepare financial reports, investment proposals, and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
  • Support negotiations related to financing agreements, loan facilities, and funding arrangements.
  • Conduct financial risk analysis and sensitivity analysis for renewable energy investments.
  • Monitor financial performance of renewable energy projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the preparation of project budgets, capital expenditure forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Participate in due diligence processes for project investments, acquisitions, or partnerships.
  • Ensure financial compliance with corporate governance standards and internal financial policies.
  • Collaborate with business development, engineering, and legal teams during project evaluation and financing stages.
  • Analyze financial implications of power purchase agreements (PPA) and other commercial contracts.
  • Provide financial advisory support during project negotiations and partnership structuring.
  • Monitor market trends in project financing and renewable energy investment opportunities.
  • Support strategic financial planning related to renewable energy portfolio expansion.
  • Ensure timely reporting of financial performance and investment returns to management.
  • Assist in optimizing capital structure for renewable energy projects.
  • Perform other corporate project finance responsibilities assigned by management.

Education and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of project finance and corporate finance principles.
  • Understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy project economics and financing structures.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure financing and energy sector investments.
  • Understanding of power purchase agreements (PPA) and project development structures.
  • Knowledge of corporate financial governance and investment evaluation frameworks.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate finance, project finance, investment analysis, or financial advisory roles.
  • Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors is highly preferred.
  • Experience in financial modelling, investment evaluation, and project financing transactions.
  • Exposure to debt financing, investment structuring, and financial negotiations with banks or financial institutions.
  • Experience working with large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects is advantageous.
