Manager (Building Information Modeling)

Develop BIM models for property products that meet end user requirements to reduce overall design time and improve constructability of the project.

Accountability & Responsibility

• Manage all development of standard library of BIM components (layouts, material properties) in line with TNB Standard Design Handbook.
• Develop schematic level and detailed models based upon libraries of parametric or solid objects which may include structure, interior and exterior architectural elements, and building systems like mechanical, electrical, firefighting and plumbing systems.
• Lead model based coordination amongst different building systems for clash detection using tools like Navisworks etc. Monitor on producing clash detection reports to notify the coordination team.
• Provide access of relevant components from BIM library to consultants as basis for further development of BIM models with higher Level of Development (LOD).
• Review and provide input of BIM models prepared by external consultants to ensure adherence to standard design and requirement of LOD.
• Support and participate in Quality, Health and Environmental (QHSE) activities to ensure company’s QHSE objectives and targets are met.

Competencies

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or a related field
• Professional BIM Manager certification from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and Project Management certification (PMP/Agile/Scrum) are added advantages

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the construction or BIM industry
