Education and Knowledge

Bachelor's in  Architecture or relevant field from recognized institute. All qualifications must be recognised by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) / Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)

Accountability & Responsibility

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all building systems: civil (structural, architectural, drainage), mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting), and electrical (LV, ELV, lighting, generators, UPS).
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve issues, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and supervise in-house technicians and external service contractors to ensure quality, compliance, and safety.
  • Manage minor renovation and upgrade works related to building structure, M&E services, and utilities.
  • Review technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, warranties, and equipment manuals.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for maintenance and capital improvement projects.
  • Plan and coordinate both preventive and corrective maintenance across all trades using CMMS.
  • Review and update asset register and maintenance schedules in CMMS as part of continuous improvement.
  • Respond to emergency situations such as power outages, equipment failures, or safety hazards.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies regarding facility related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, codes, and workplace safety requirements.
