Executive (Project Scheduler)

Manages all general scheduling and planning activities for a department or project. Assists project managers in developing project schedules and analyzing the critical path to reduce the overall project timeline and identify solutions to keep the project as per schedule.

Accountability & Responsibility

  • Interact and consult with the project team to assist project managers in developing detailed schedules and identifying variances from the original plan.
  • Develop methods of analysis to analyze the critical path and constraints, determine the effects of changes to the schedule, and recommend workarounds.
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Anticipate issues and conduct proactive analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery strategies for delayed schedules.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align schedules and ensure project timelines are adhered to.
  • Acts as the main point of contact or reference for project coordination under Property Services, ensuring technical specifications as per the Construction Industry Standards by Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).

Education and Knowledge

  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, engineering or a related field

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 years of working experience in project construction, project scheduling, project planning or project design
  • Proficient in using planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) or construction software (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud), or other equivalent platforms, is an added advantage
