To assist the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teams to produce draft agreements for project, and operation and maintenance execution.

Accountability & Responsibility

Contract Drafting and Negotiation for ICT Applications Domain

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for ICT services, software licenses, hardware procurement, and outsourcing agreements.
  • Ensure contracts reflect the organization requirements, mitigate risks, and incorporate favorable terms and conditions.

 

Vendor Management

  • Resolve disputes and escalate issues as necessary to ensure vendor compliance and satisfactory service delivery.

 

Contract Administration

  • Maintain an up-to-date contract repository and documentation of contract terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate contract reviews and approvals within the organization.

 

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

  • Identify and assess legal and commercial risks associated with ICT contracts.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommendations for contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including ICT, legal, finance, and procurement teams.
  • Communicate contract requirements, negotiate solutions, and facilitate consensus among stakeholders.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate and optimize contract management processes and procedures.
  • Implement best practices and standards for ICT contract management.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

Education and Knowledge

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law

Experience Requirements

  • Has 3 to 5 years of legal experience in the IT business, industry or function, including projects, operations, and maintenance.
  • Has at least 1 to 2 years of experience in contract management, and has accomplished in establishing multiple contracts in the ICT-related field.
  • Able to provide advisory on contract agreement and work closely with the Legal Services Department (LSD) and the Contract Advisory team from Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC).
