Executive (Interior Design)

Reporting To

Mission (Sources of Values)

Produce interior designs for property products by the Property Services Department that meet the project brief and end-user requirements, adopting the latest interior design (ID) principles and trends, in compliance with UBBL (or other local authority and technical agency requirements), incorporating best sustainability and HSE practices, while being cost-effective and within the SLA timeframe.

Accountability & Responsibility

  • Produce preliminary interior design (ID) proposals to get approval from end-users, utilizing tools such as schematic planning, visualizations, and material and furniture selections
  • Produce detailed ID drawings and other documents for the preparation of accurate cost estimates
  • Produce comprehensive and accurate tender drawings and other tender documents

Authority

  • Review submissions by external consultants and contractors
  • Endorse / approve material and sample submissions assessed against the tender specifications
  • As per Limits of Authority

KPIs

  • Completion of work orders as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframe
  • Percentage of Variation Orders (VO) on projects due to design issues
  • Utilization of REVIT / BIM
  • Utilization of 3D visualizations
  • Conformance to ISO requirements
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) and customer feedback
  • Continuous enhancement of technical knowledge

Education and Knowledge

  • A bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or a related field
  • Professional Building Information Modeling (BIM) certification from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is an added advantage

  • At least 3 years of working experience in interior design or a related industry
