Basic Salary : RM3,900 – RM6700

Education and Knowledge

Bachelor in Health & Safety Environment/ Engineering or relevant field from recognized institute. All qualifications must be recognised by Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) / Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)

• Malaysian Citizens
• This position is only open for external candidates who are not currently employed by TNB or any of its subsidiary.
• Good Health Conditions and ideal BMI
• Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and willingness to work on-site.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Critical thinker with innovative problem solving skills.

Experience Requirements

• Excellent in communication skills
• At least 3 years of working experience in HSE. Preferably experience in Electrical and Building Operation
• Able to work independent, work under pressure to meet deadlines, ability to prioritize, manage time well multitask and have attitude to immediately stop an activity/process in case of imminent risk of accident (environmental or personal)
• Possess valid Green Book license will be added advantage

Accountability & Responsibility

• Job Responsibilities
• Ensuring the compliance at place of work of the provisions of Acts and others requirements.
• Reviewing the measures taken to ensure the Environment, Health & Safety of persons at the place of work.
• Investigate any cases brought to his attention with regards to Safety and Health at place of work with view of resolving.
• Liaise with Department Heads on all safety, health and environment aspect for continuous improvement.
• Preparing the Environment, Health & Safety training program to new and existing employee to enhance employee skills, knowledge on safety requirements.
• Preparing HSE monthly report on the projects.
• Ensure that all departments through out the company are fully aware and responsible on the implementation of organization’s applicable management system requirements.
• Assist in implementing the BBS (Behavior Base Safety) system at workplace and continuous promote occupational safety awareness and environment for employees
• To ensure the implementation of HSE rules and promote its awareness to all employees.
• Guide and assist subordinates in order day to day tasks work smoothly and accordingly as per Annual EHS Planner
• To maintain building and equipment licenses/certificate renewal to relevant authority (DOSH, DOE & BOMBA)
